Daypin

Terms of Use & End-User License Agreement

Effective July 20, 2026

These Terms of Use and End-User License Agreement (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Daypin (operated by Ayush Gupta). By creating an account or using Daypin, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The service

Daypin is a calendar and note-taking app — a wall of days on which you pin sticky notes for your intentions and, optionally, share boards with people you invite. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in uses a magic link sent to it. You must be at least 13 years old to use Daypin. Provide accurate information and don't impersonate anyone.

3. Your content

You own the notes and boards you create. You grant Daypin only the limited rights needed to operate the service — to store your content and display it back to you and to the collaborators you invite to a shared board. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Content policy — objectionable content and abusive users

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Daypin. This applies to anything you post, including notes on boards you share with others. When you use shared boards, you agree not to create, post, or share content that is:

Reporting objectionable content

If you see objectionable content on a shared board, or experience abusive behaviour from another user, report it in the app (using the report option on the board or note) or email ayushgupta0610@gmail.com. We review every report and act on objectionable content and abusive users within 24 hours — removing the offending content and, where warranted, suspending or permanently terminating the responsible account.

Blocking users

You can block another user at any time. A blocked user can no longer share boards with you, appear on your shared boards, or contact you through the app.

Our enforcement

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with or without notice. Serious or repeated violations, and any content that endangers others, result in permanent removal from the service and, where appropriate, referral to the authorities.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempting to breach security or access other users' data, no reverse-engineering or copying the app, no automated scraping, and no use that disrupts the service or violates the law. You may use Daypin for personal and everyday work.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Daypin is free to use, with an optional Pro subscription that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are billed through our payment processor, Dodo Payments (Merchant of Record), or through Apple, depending on where you subscribe. Paid plans renew automatically for the period you chose until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled according to the policy of the processor you paid through (Dodo or Apple).

7. Intellectual property

The Daypin app, its name, design, and software are owned by Ayush Gupta and protected by law. These Terms grant you a license to use the app, not any ownership of it.

8. Disclaimers

Daypin is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost, though we take reasonable measures to protect it. Keep your own copies of anything critical.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daypin and Ayush Gupta are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using Daypin and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms — in particular the content policy in section 4.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
